Day 1: Wat Umong, Wat Phalard and Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple
Itinerary :
• Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai at 15.00 pm.
• Visit Wat Umong
• One the way to Doi Suthep visit Wat Phalard Temple
• Visit Doi Suthep Temple in the evening
• Return to Chiang Mai about 19.30 pm.
Clothing: Polite clothes such as trousers or a long skirt should be worn for the visit to Doi Suthep temple.
Day 2: Elephant Care, Chiang Dao Cave, Thaton Temple
Itinerary :
• Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai at 08.00 am.
• Drive approximately 1.5 hours to the north of Chiang Mai city
• Arrive at Elephant care and change into traditional karen clothing
• Learn about history and behavior of Asian Elephants
• Meet the elephants, feed and playing with the elephants by hands and being with them closely
• Learn about traditional organic herbal dietary supplements for the elephants and walk with the elephant to the jungle
• Bathe & Brush your elephant, then say goodbye to your elephant.
• After that, change your clothes and then drive to Chiang Dao cave and explore here.
• Thaton Temple and drive to Chiang Rai
• Check in at your hotel in Chiang Rai
Day 3: Golden Triangle, Baan Dam Black House, Blue templem White Temple, Hot Spring
Itinerary :
• Visit Golden Triangle, the land of three countries meet (Thailand, Myanmar & Laos)
• (Optional) : Take a long tail boat along Mae Khong River
• Visit Baan Dam (Black House)
• Visit Blue Temple
• Visit Wat Rong Kun (White Temple)
• Mae khachan Hot spring
• Return to Chiang Mai
Day 4: Doi Inthanon National Park
Itinerary :
• Pick up from your hotel at 08.30 am.
• Visit the highest mountain in Thailand
• Visit Two beautiful pagodas Phra Mahathat Nophamethanidol and Phra Mahathat Nophol Bhumisiri
• Have lunch on the way
• Visit Baan Mae Klang Luang, a Karen village (not the Karen Long Neck tribe), and enjoy tasting organic coffee at the village
• Next visit Wachiratharn, the 80 meter-high waterfall of Mae Klang River
• Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai
